Course description: In this core course real estate agents will learn everything they need to know about the mortgage process and to what extent they need to be involved. According to NAR 87% of recent home buyers used financing to purchase their property and 34% of all home buyers were doing it for the first time. That means that 9 out of 10 transactions will require financing and 1 out of 3 will be first time buyers that have never been through the mortgage or real estate process before. This class will share knowledge and skills to be able to understand loan terminology and the basics of various mortgage situations. After this course agents will be better representatives on both sides of the transaction, be able to help buyers feel more comfortable in a new or infrequent experience, and be able to spot red flags that could be detrimental to a transaction.
