The first hour of the course focuses on terminology associated with water rights, principal concepts of Utah water law, components of a water right, and the application process with the Utah Division of Water Rights. The second hour of the course focuses on how water rights are conveyed, including conveyance by deed, conveyance by appurtenance, reports of conveyance to update title with the Utah Division of Water Rights, water right deed addendums, and water right title insurance.
