Just as with smoking health risks, the US Surgeon General has weight in with reports and the following warning-SURGEON GENERALS WARNING: Radon causes lung cancerÂ. There is no longer a doubt. The world health organization (WHO) agrees and has joined the campaign. Remediation techniques have been proven and refined to such a point that retrofitting a home to exclude radon is not a big deal. Its no more expensive than any other typical home repair like replacing a rotted fence or replacing and old air conditioning condenser. The public has accepted radon testing and home retrofits as a normal part of a real estate transaction. This presentation is intended to increase your knowledge of radon, health risks, testing and remediation. This course will teach you: What radon is and where it comes from.
